Who has put an end to the darkness that has taken over the Silvergale Isles, who is beginning to unravel he secret, who has brought an ancient beast--2,000 years old--back to seek retribution on the demon who robbed her of her family. You uncovered the spy within the rangari who has slain many of our people, and given them justice. You’ve helped to lead these brave heroes of Azeroth here. You did this, and all the while, you were the Prophet’s daughter. It does not matter where you came from. You are still you. And it is alright to be afraid. But this is your life, your secret. I want to feel the pain that you now feel, so I can help you bear it. It is the least I can do. But we all carry darkness, Remnii. Various Cliffclutch harpy scouts had also arrived to help search, and Altruis said it would be best to be as quiet as they could. Zar’Kaa asked him if there were any obvious signs they left behind, and Altruis admitted that he didn’t know much anymore, as he had only known them 2,000 years ago. Story.ChapterFiveSessionSixtyThreeHorde . . . by ?: ->Thalyssra Dusklily says: I know it must seem rather strange. In truth, the menagerie is not what it used to be. That anomaly may have been what drew us back, as if this moment in time was a place that was so important in the timeways that it drew us to it. We had stumbled into a trap you see, but rather than what the trap was supposed to do, it disrupted when we were supposed to be. We wound up on quite a journey in our attempts to make our way home. We found ourselves 2,000 years in the past, so we… overshot it a bit. But word of advice, try to avoid messing with chronomancy. It will cause you any number of headaches. Azshara was a great and powerful leader of their people… and that was 2,000 years ago. I can only imagine she has become more powerful and more comfortable in her power.
Story.ChapterFiveSessionFortyHorde . . . by ?: Thalyssra said that Farondis had visited Suramar on many occasions, and Nar’thalas was formerly one of the magical centers of the old empire. She had even studied there for a short time. She said the academy there was believed to be the greatest among many, though she didn’t imagine much remained after Azshara’s wrath, and she hoped the spirits there could find some semblance of peace. Nyxxa asked her if she could remember what happened from her point of view, and Thalyssra said they detected a powerful magical anomaly. When they attempted to contact Farondis, nothing worked, and when they scryed they saw only flooded ruins. She said that level of magic was unprecedented. Creatures.Satyr . . . by ?: Satyrs were warped images of their former selves and were based on the form inflicted on the first satyr, Characters/Xavius, by the dark titan Characters/Sargeras. Once an individual was transformed into a satyr they acquired an immortal demon soul and the ability to reform in the Nether if they were killed on the material plane. While they had the upper halves of their former selves, their lower halves were that of goats, and they sprouted large horns and typically grew extra hair and fur all over their bodies, which grew at an expedited rate. If a satyr cut their hair, it typically was back to the length it formerly was in scarcely more than a week or two. The satyr also grows taller then their former self. Satyrs were innate corrupts and their presence corrupted the lands around them, which meant that long-term satyr activity was typically accompanied by fel-warped lands around their sects. This corruption is enhanced exponentially in realms particularly susceptible to it, such as the Emerald Dream. All satyrs have been banished from the Dream because of this and are incapable of dreaming. New satyrs can only be created by existing satyrs, and it required the targeted mortal to willingly choose to accept the curse. Because of the need of a willing recipient, satyrs are prone to using trickery, coercion, and deception to convince their targets.

Characters.VincentGodfrey . . . by ?: To his core, Godfrey was a patriot that adored his country and everything Gilneas stood for, but he was also an ambitious man that sought to keep his role in the hierarchy secure. He had been close to the royal family for decades, and was once a trusted advisor of Genn Greymane, though his loyalty to the former king waned after the decisions that led to the outbreak of the worgen curse. Instead, he sought to advise Liam, though the pair of them were frequently at odds due to their differences in opinion concerning how the future of Gilneas should be forged. Godfrey believed that he knew the best path to Gilneas's future, and that future did not have the worgen as part of it. He was willing to utilize underhanded and ruthless tactics to prove such a point, as could be seen with the conception of Operation Silverfall, but ultimately his conviction in his ways waned after he saw the effectiveness of other means, and he realized that his way was not the way to save his country.

As a result, he bore witness to the death of Ulan Highmountain when Dargrul had seized the Hammer and caused an eruption of Azerite to pierce through the High Chieftain's chest. When the warband of Arthak Saurfang, guided by the harpy Rak'Symma, arrived in the midst of the conflict that broke out, Nyxxa Murkthorn's special sight revealed to her that Ebonhorn was actually a disguised dragon, though she kept the information to her chest in favor of dealing with the battle. Ebonhorn displayed immense strength and powerful, seemingly shamanic ability during the altercation, and with Ulan dead, his had turned the entirety of his focus on protecting his daughter, Mayla. When Dargrul and his honor guard fled, Rak'Symma attempted to revive Ulan, but was unsuccessful, and Ebonhorn begged the surprise group of reinforcements to help secure Thunder Totem as the seismic activity of the use of the Hammer of Khaz'goroth was threatening to shatter it. While lives were lost, they were fewer than they would have been, and the chieftains of Highmountain reconvened to discuss their next stepss. Ebonhorn had retrieved Ulan's body and covered it with a shroud, and reassured Mayla that he would be there to give her counsel in her new role as High Chieftain. Torok Bloodtotem challenged the claim, as he found Mayla to be an untested chieftain, and it had been her father that had invited Dargrul to Thunder Totem in the first place. Ebonhorn says: Dargrul stole the hammer. He struck out at the chieftain when he tried to stop him. There are legends of that hammer… one is that what it builds is unbreakable, but what it destroys can never be repaired…. These crystals… are strange. Strangers. I know you have already helped us, but I would beg one more boon of you. Thunder Totem is still under attack. The seismic activity unleashed by the hammer is still threatening to make the place crumble. Dullahan also had an quirk in way of speaking where they were prone to rhyming. Many dullahan were skilled warriors in life, and that prowess extended into undeath, which made them fearsome opponents when empowered with the strength of their undead forms. They also normally had some form of magical ability, though the nature of said ability ranged based on the dullahan. The ball of vines hurled down with it, and struck into Thondrax Banehoof, though the Praetor was able to roll with the attack. Arthak found himself in a sprawling maze of brambles. He grunted to himself and started to work on trying to find a way out. He heard a sound. It was the sound of someone grunting, and steel attempting to carve through vines. He found an orc with a dull blade, no older than 8 at the most. He swung into the vines again and again, but he made no progress.

December 5th At one point, while Freya was alone, Renard had appeared again and asked her what she was doing as she was planting a sapling. Freya expressed that Renard had shown his cunning, thus was deserving of an answer, and she explained that ultimately helping the flora and fauna of the world was her calling, and she felt that perhaps chancing fate a bit and giving creatures a chance they wouldn’t have was a fine goal so that she could see what they would become. Renard agreed that seemed like a fine goal that he could jive with, and he cheekily commented he was worried about the boar, as he had gotten kicked quite a bit. Freya chuckled and said she believed he was quite resilient. Freya asked the fox if he had met anyone else interesting in his travels, and the fox mused idly about a pair of bears and a large stag he had seen at one point. Freya said that she would appreciate it if he pointed her in their direction, and she would be happy to repay the favor in the future. Renard happily agreed to the deal, and he ultimately made himself scarce before the others were alerted to his presence.

Characters.Patchwerk . . . by ?: (:Death: Mauled to near death by Characters/Seria before he was ignited by radiant fire shot from the bow of Windrunner during a conflict on the Causeway of Places/Naxxramas.:) After Razuvious successfully beheaded Velameestra Windrunner and reduced her to mist, she opted to flow into Patchwerk's face where she distracted him enough that he used one of his hooks to try and wave her away. When Razuvious was killed by Gilveradin Windrunner, Patchwerk did not seem to realize what happened and simply exclaimed in glee that he was no longer there and he could now play. He coughed up more bile and continued to try and harass Gilveradin, but Seria started to rip and tear into the fleshy abomination and was able to successfully rip his cleaver from his hand and throw it into the thick river of plagued ooze below the bridge. One of Patchwerk's arms was torn off and reduced to an animated claw. !!!! Death (October 18th, 633) Patchwerk attempted to try and shove the wildshaped Seria into his exposed gut where his rib cage could chomp down on her, but he was unable to make any amount of headway before Gilveradin fired a flaming arrow and ignited the creature's putrid bile, which burned him from the inside out and left him nothing more than a charred corpse. * %blue%[[Story/ChapterFiveSessionFortyOneAlliance | [Alliance] Chapter Five: Session Forty-One]]%% :Aggro: %red%Patchwerk want to play!
